FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE FOR JOB RETENTION


For the months of February and March 2021, only businesses whose business activities fall within the Affirmative List (as determined by MFEPT), and who were receiving assistance under the Scheme in January 2021 will continue to receive FA4JR assistance.

Affirmative List

  • Self-Catering Establishments, Guesthouses, Hotels, Restaurants
  • Airlines, Car Hires, Bicycle Hires, Boat/Yacht Charters, Destination Management Companies, Tour Guides, Travel Agents
  • Watersport, Dive Centers, Musicians, Artists
  • Omnibus operators, Ferry Services, Taxis, Motor Vehicle Dealers
  • Handicraft and souvenir shops

If you are currently a recipient of assistance under Form 1 (for the salaries of the employees on your payroll), and your business activity falls within the Affirmative List, you will only need to advise us of details of any employees who were previously covered by the Scheme but have now left your employment. In order to do this, please utilize the Payroll Amendments feature below and enter details only of the employees who have left (i.e. retired, been terminated, resigned or made redundant).

If your business falls within the Affirmative List and you are already receiving assistance under Form 2, the amount of SR 5,804.00 will be disbursed automatically and no application is necessary.

No new applications for assistance will be considered for February or March 2021.

PAYROLL AMENDMENTS for Financial Assistance of Payrolls (Form 1)

  • To be completed by current recipients of Form 1 assistance who are on the Affirmative List AND have employees who have been removed from their payroll (retired, resigned, terminated, made redundant)
  • Please use this feature to provide details only of the specific employees who have been removed from your payroll
  • If no employees have left your business, you do not need to complete an application or submit any additional information

Application for Financial Assistance of Payrolls (Form 1)

To be completed by businesses who are employing people and are either:

  • First-time applicants to the FA4JR Scheme; or
  • Businesses which have not received FA4JR assistance for NOVEMBER 2020

Application for Financial Assistance of Self-Employed (Form 2)

To be completed by individuals who are self-employed (i.e. sole traders/partnerships) and are not on the payroll of a business.

Only fill out this form if you are:

  • A first time applicant to the FA4JR Scheme; or
  • You did not receive FA4JR assistance for the month of NOVEMBER 2020

Submissions are Closed

No Submission Required


JULY PAYROLL – Form 1 Beneficiaries

  • To be completed by businesses which have received FA4JR assistance for staff on their payroll previously and continue to require assistance
  • JULY payroll must be submitted before Friday 21st December 2020 in order to receive assistance for December
  • Only one submission is needed per business

PAYROLL AMENDMENTS FOR MONTHS OF AUGUST ONWARDS for Financial Assistance of Payrolls (Form 1)

  • To be completed by businesses which have received FA4JR assistance for staff on their payroll previously and continue to require assistance
  • Please advise the Committee of any employees who have been removed or any downward adjustments to payroll in any given month going forward from August 2020.
